The point was that the democrats like to portray their party as the party of the young & the Republicans are old white guys

But the reality is that the Republicans have younger more diverse candidates & all the democrats can come up with is 2 white social security recipients.

And that point is coming from someone that voted for 72 year old John McCain.

But you're right - Democrats do represent younger people and a wide array of ethnicities....which is why those groups overwhelmingly have and will be supporting Democrats in the elections.

You have one chance to win the general election with Jeb Bush. The other "self deportation" candidates will encounter the same results as MItt Romney did with that platform....and that wont change just because Marco Rubio's last name ends with a vowel.
My math isn't as good as PJ's, but the Socialist is almost a full term older than McCain.....yeah, I voted for McCain......but then, what choice did I have? I've lived in Illinois my entire life and NEVER voted for Obama. I've had some really ugly choices to make over the years but I still think not voting for the modern day Jimmy Carter was wise in every case.

And that means I voted for Obama's opponent in his senate race......wasn't that a vote cast while holding my nose.

Obama.....the only one happy with his Presidency should be Jimmy Carter.
According to Pew the avg age of a democrat voter is 47.7 & a Republican voter is 49.7

One thing is clear:
Nobody gets their poor little feelings hurt more easily than the champions of "political incorrectness". Half the debate was the candidates crying about the liberal media and the unfair questions. Trump denied something he has on his own web page...and then blasted Becky Quick for making it up.

They're delicate little flowers, aren't they?

Wow. Just about every media outlet has busted on CNBC for the botched job they did. Hell, the producers told all the regular on air people to not acknowledge the horrible job that was done. NBC itself snet a directive to all NBC station producers to not acknowledge the gaffe(s), to just "move on".
All you have to say is "WAAA" ?

PJ,

Facts are difficult things for you I know.....but let me ask a simple question of you, if I may.....if the younger voters and broader spectrum are so supportive and important to the Dems, how have the Dems managed to lose control of both houses?

Honestly, listening to you suggest strategy to the Republicans is almost, not quite, but almost as funny as trying to listen Hillary speak two coherent sentences without her needing a good dose of truth serum.
Hi,
Trust me the last CNBC debate began creepy and ended the same with no focus on the particular topic. But it definitely lowered the polls for Trump. However Fox network has promised a good topic related debate on 10 th November GOP Debate. Here's everything about the next Fox Business-WSJ GOP Debate
American women outlive men by about five years, so Hillary's life expectancy is on par with Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, and John Kasich.

And for the age bigots out there, statistically speaking a President Trump could be expected to die before the end of his second term.
