Top 100 places to see before you die list. How many have you been to?

If the Italian lake district is the correct location, then I can add one more to my list of 11. That is where my husband's family resides. Absolutely beautiful!

I've been everywhere, man, but only 14 places on this list.

I'm late to this thread, so most folks probably won't see this, but the list appears to be one from a website called Pinterest, and it can viewed with more detail here.

On this list, at least, it looks like "Lake District" refers to the one in England. "Douglas" refers to a city on the Isle of Man, in the British Isles.

I would like to know who MADE this list....who are THEY? I, too, question how some of these got on the list and some obvious places (imo) are not.

That being said....I've been to 18 of the places. In fact, last June I spent a week in Krakow, Poland (#48 ) with a girlfriend. I would imagine it's on the list for the history (plus, the 2 nazi concentration camps nearby--Auschwitz & Birkenau) because otherwise, I don't get it. I also lived a year in Seoul, Korea (#52) and can't imagine people wanting to visit there as a MUST do (as compared to, for example, Germany and its awesome castles, vineyards, etc. which aren't even on the list)

The only places I MAY add are any that are in Italy...my daughter and niece and I plan on going SOME YEAR....otherwise, it will be just traveling around the good-ol'-US of A for me.

LA, Las Vegas, Seattle, New Orleans, Grand Canyon, Disney World, Krakow, New York, Dead Sea, Washington DC, Niagara Falls, Paris, San Francisco, Toronto, and London - I guess that makes 15 for me.

Frankly I'm surprised I didn't get to more of the list. Of the ones I haven't been too I probably want to go to Perth or Hong Kong the most.
