Well, The partridges' were way better than the Brady's, although I might confess the Brady's seemed more wholesome.

The Sopranos?? Not even.

The Bunkers? Good show, not so good family.

The Ewings'? I'm from Texas and our family resembles the Ewings, I wouldn't put them in the top 10.

The Cunninghams and Ricardos should be further up there. The Bundy's, not so much.

And if the Flintstones made it the Jetsons have to. They are the same family seperated by 5,000 years.

Of course all this is most likely judged with the entertainment factor considered. That changes everything.

Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Puggsley, Fester, Grandmama, Lurch, and Thing.

ME TV had a Father's Knows Best Marathon, I think it ran for about 30 hours yesterday. During commercial breaks they offered trivia. Here's some I remember:

1. Betty's character was based on Robert Young's daughter.
2. Jane Wyatt turned down the role of Margaret but they set her the script anyway and she fell in love with it.
3. Lauren Chapin found out the show was cancelled when she showed up for work and the security guard wouldn't let her on the set.
4. Billy Gray was chosen because he had the most natural comedic personality of those auditioned.
5. The show was cancelled after one year on TV but was brought back when it's fans complained and ran for 6 years.
6. Robert Young wanted to make a show where the father was smart and not silly like other TV dad's of the time. (Bill Cosby stated the same thing about Mr. Huxtable on the Cosby show recently)
7. For two of the kids characters, 78 and 48 auditioned, but I can't remember which ones.


I can't remember the rest.

How about the Simpsons? The longest running cartoon family.
