Total Rewards - 2 people playing on same card?

My husband and I are Total Reward members. Our accounts are linked but we have different numbers. We gamble alot while in vegas as we are not into shows (have seen many over the years) nor gormet dining. In an earlier question about total rewards some people said we should gamble on one card to maximize our offers. My husbands offers are better than mine. My question is: could we sit side by side at video poker or even slot machines and have both register? Or even if we were in different areas playing different games, would both of our action register? Do casinos frown on this? It seems to me if we could play on one card we would get better offers.
I'm not a harrah's player but in general you should be able to play on both cards anywhere in the casino. Some casinos actually tell players to do this. Some casinos frown on it. You never know unless you ask.

Some casinos use something called "average play" to determine comps. In these cases playing on multiple cards can make a significant difference.
Two people playing on one card anywhere in the casino should not be a problem. I do it all the time, even locally.

Hubby and I both play on one card. My name is on total rewards, his is Southpoint...etc.
We share the love.

The casinos only care how much coin goes in. If you choose to put it on one card you can get to Diamond status quicker and you can bring a guest ( person you share a card with) into the Diamond Lounge.

Rooms are nicer and check in is nicer platnum and above.

I believe when you are Seven Stars, you can get a "companion card" that has your companions name on it, but are linked to the same account I believe...

My wife and I play duplicate TR cards at the same time.
Well, your accounts are NOT linked. Harrahs (Caesars) unlinked cards about five years ago to comply with various divorce laws in various states.... or rather not to comply with them but to take them into account.

Husbands and wives have different account numbers because you, in fact, have different accounts. However, you can each decide to merge your "points" to pay for rooms, meals, etc. But should the two of you divorce, Harrahs (Caesars) would show the court and your lawyers that your accounts are indeed separate. Then youll have to fight it out between yourselves and leave the casino company out of it.

From what I was told, Harrahs actually got tied up in some high roller divorce cases which is why they changed the system.

My wife has a "companion" card so she can use the 7 Stars privileges, but her "companion card" has HER TR number on it and not mine. (actually, her companion card expired and slapinfunk wants to be assigned as my companion since he goes with me more than she does. LOL)
You shouldn't have problems with this. Me and my wife were playing on one card on https://norske-casino.eu/ and everything was OK.

Where do you and your wife insert the card when you're playing at those Norwegian On-Line casinos?
