TR - The Great Dessert Caper

Another wonderful Westie trip report; loved every minute of it. Gary Puckett was a favorite of mine back in "the day." He had a terrfic voice. I especially liked "Over You" (I guess there's just no getting over you..) I saw him several years ago at a country fair in Connecticut and his voice was pretty much gone. Even though it was a free show, it was painful to see/hear, and I was tempted to walk out in the middle of the performance, but suffered through it. I'm really suprised that he is still performing.

You will need to obtain a free library card before using the computers. We have gone 100 times and there are always a few available. Be aware that the library is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

-----------------1801 Tropicana @ Spencer. It is across Spencer from where the Liberace museum is located. The new owners only charge 99 cents a pound with no minimum from what I could tell.

-------------When we got home I checked a youtube of him singing and I totally agree about the voice. His band sings along on many of the songs so it covers up his vocal limitations much like Wayne did for so many years.

Wow thank you for writing such a detailed report along with all the pictures. Great
organizational skills with regards to coupons etc. Everyone that enjoys Vegas can
learn a lot about restaurants etc off strip. Very enjoyable read.
