Booked this trip back in January thru US Airways Vacations. 10 guys ages 22 thru 60. The day finally came and its up at 02:30 Am for our flight out of Philadelphia. Our group of 10 was now down to 9 because one of the guys was mad at another guy in the group and refused to go. His lose no refunds. Arrived at the airport with plenty of time and got on board and found out the plane needed the black box repaired. took off an hour late. Pilot made up a half hour in the sky and arrived in Vegas only half hour late. Got to baggage claim and that took forever. dropped $60.00 in slots at airport. Bags finally came up and off to the car rental building to get our full size car and a mini van. got the cars through Alamo and off to the Flamingo to start our trip
Went to check in and was told room not ready until 4 pm. Checked the bags at bell check and went to Margarittaville for lunch. Had burger and 2 Havana Banana drinks. burger was under cooked but a was hungry and eat the whole thing. Went back to Casino, played some VP at the bar and suddenly got ill. Ran to the bathroom in the casino and lost my lunch. felt better after getting sick. and finally got to our room around 4:30pm. Basic room at the Flamingo not fancy but would do fine for the four nights. After checking in we did some more gambling them we decided to go the Palamino strip club. Arrived at the Palamino and the door man leet us in for free no cover charge. I tipped him a 20 and he got us a nice table up close to the stage. Girls were aggressive for our money and I decided to go in the VIP room for a lap dance. Picked a girl and left the VIP room $320.00 lighter but very happy. Spent around 500.00 before calling it a night and went back to the Flamingo and decided to walk over to the Cosmo for Pizza. Got half way and said this is two far and we walked over to Bills instead and went to the cafe in the back. Had stake and eggs then went back to Flamingo to Gamble.
I them walked over to the Imperial Palace to check into a room I had booked just in case one one the guys needeed some alone time. It was comped so why not. Went to check in and they had no rooms left and gave me a king suite. The room was cool but never used it and it just stayed empty all four nights. Walked back over to Flamingo and called it a night around 5 AM
Day2.
Got up by seven Am. Just cant sleep when in Vegas. and a group of us went over to the Mirage to try the breakfast Buffet. It was Ok not great. a little pricey for breakfast. After breakfast headed back and sat at the VP at the bar and got killed. it was now 1pm and I was suppose to meet the group at the pool at 10Am. Went to the pool and found it was all diffrent frrom what I remember. When did the Flamingo pool become a club pool. Security checking ID and bags and giving you a braclet. Got into the pool and it was hot outside. stayed 10 minutes and back in the Casino. Met up with a friend and walked over to Ellis Island. Played some blackjack and I must say the dealer was miserable, nasty and just had the biggest Puss on her face. After a while we left and went back to the Flamingo to get ready for dinner.
Went downtown and tried to get into Hugos at the 4 queens but had no reservation. Then went over to the Flame at El Cortes and had a great dinner and I must say the best waitress I ever had. She huged everyone of us when we left. We then walked to the Weston across the street and had a nice crap run then went over to the golden nugget and gave back all my winnings from the Weston. Back to the Flamingo to crash around 230 am.
day3
Did some morning gambling at the Bar then 5 off us decided to go to Laughlin. Got a late start and arrived in Laughlin around 1pm. Had lunch at the Pioneer casino. Must say food has been better in the past. Just lunch no big deal. Then decided to rent Jet Skies. Rented them for an hour around 120.00 total then went over to the Colorado bell to meet up with the guys the skipped jet sking. Played some 3 card poker won 100.00 and it was time to head back to Vegas.
Arrived back at Dinner time and drove to Battistas hole in the wall. Must say food was good much beter then the past time I was there. And yes Gordie is still there playing his acordian. after dinner went over to the Voodo Lounge at Rio and had fun. No band playing just fun dance music. Then went over to Cosmo to try their club. Arrived at cosmo and the club was closed. Then went over to Pure. What a rip off 50.00 to walk in. are you kidding. payed the moneey and left after becoming bored real fast. Back to the Flamingo where I hit the passenger side mirror of the rent a car on the valet sign. Put a huge crack in the mirror and checked the car into valet. I knew I should have taken the rental insurance. Oh well off to the blackjack table. Played blackjack to 5 AM then went to bed
Day4
Up at 630 am and Went to Ellis Island for breakfast. good food for the price. Affter breakfast went shopping for the kids and had trouble finding anything for the kids. Walked down to the Foutain Mall. What mall does not have a toy store you quessed it that one. No toy stores anywhere WTH. walked back to Flamingo and went to the pool to cool down. The other guys were already there and rented a big day bed. As I was talking to them I noticed one of the NJ Devils hockey players sitting next to us with his girl friend. Talkeed to him for a while then went back inside to go to walmart to buy something for the kids and try to get some automotive glue to put the car mirror back to gather. Picked up some Lego's and attempted to fix the mirror in the parking lot. no good worth a try anyways.
after Walmart hit some of the local casinos went to long Horn and East Side Cannery. Had a fun time didnt loose to bad went back to Flamingo and got dressed to go down town. Went to Yugos and had a nice dinner. around 80.00 a guy and it took over 2 hours to eat. very very nice worth every dime. went back to the Westen by El cortez but the AC was out and it was one hot Casino. We left and a few of the guys did the zip line. they said it was just OK. Then we went to Olympic Gardens OG'S. It was vey dark and we were to tired to enjoy it so we left and went back to the Flamingo. I then walked over to Osheas and saw them filming a eposode of Cops in front on Ceasars. The cop pulled over a woman and a mini van of camara men jumped out and started filming. then went and checkeed out of the Imperal palace room and went back to Flamingo to Gamble.
Day 5
Up early and packed and off to Ellis Island for Breakfast. After breakfast my buddy hit a royal and we then walked back to Flamingo checked out and headed over to Hooters. Played for a while then off to the airport to come home. Took off 1 1/2 hours late due to weather. Back home safe. It sucks when the trip is over. Wanted to do alot more but ran out of time. Must say the older guys hung better then the young kids. see you next May Vegas
