Tropicana penthouse

I was looking at the Tropicana penthouse. Pretty nice and not too expensive. Two story and I think 1700 sqft, I may be wrong. Anyone ever stay in the Tropicana. I have never even dared the thought, but after looking at the penthouse and the prices, it's got me thinking.

How much?
I've heard nothing but good things since the remodel.

Went to see the Brad Garrett show & was very impressed by the improvements but the vp is horrible (at least back in Feb)

I think about $280.00 for a Thursday night.
It's good to hear that a legacy, old-school Vegas resort has apparently gotten a second chance at life, unlike the Sahara (how sad).

Yeah, I didn't even know they were shutting down. I was out there a week before they closed. My girlfriend and I were contemplating on going in there, since we had never gone there before. Wish we would have gone :-( That's the thing I hate about having a full schedual to see shows, takes up most of my time. I like going out to Vegas and sight see, shows take up alot of time if you are the sight seeing type like myself.

The first time I went to LV in 12/2001, I went to the Sahara's Congo Room to take in the "The Rat Pack is Back" show, and I liked their low-roller casino, but I never stayed there. A lot of people in this forum have described the place as a dump, and they very well may be right, but I will still miss the old girl. Maybe someone with deep pockets will buy her up and give her a second chance at life as well.

I agree with you. My ex-wife stayed there 2 years ago and said it was a complete dump.
