tropicana pool and nikki beach

Hi All,

I am thinking about staying at the tropicana after their remodelling and I hope somebody can help me with some unclearity I am having regarding the tropicana pool and nikki beach.

- Do I understand correct that the trop pool and nikki beach are two seperate sections?
- I assume that the trop pool is free for hotel guests but how about nikki beach?
-If you have to pay for nikki beach how much would that be?
- Is the trop pool only for hotel guests and nikki beach for everybody.
- is the trop pool itself a fun place for somebody around 30.

any other insights are also more then welcome

Thanks All
I Just have one additional question.
I just noticed that the grand opening of nikki beach is the weekend of 26 may, does that mean that nikki beach is not open the beginning of may?
I dont know if this helps but we're staying there in April, I read thats when their pool is open. Iam not sure about Nikki Beach though.
I went to a Nikki Beach a couple years ago when it was at Resorts in AC. It was early but it was lame. I think it gets pretty good when it gets dark out. They had lots of beds. Yes, beds outside. Overall, the place was very strong on appearance but very weak on service. In other words, the bartenders were smoking hot but slow as hell; too busy chatting and not working. It closed down after a year. It was a failed experiment by Resorts to try and attract the young, rich clientele that typically would go to the Borgata. It was free during the day but they gave us wristbands so I assume they charged at night.

Tropicana is probably looking at all the revenue the pool club at Encore is bringing in and trying to pull some of that clientele. I don't think it will work but good luck to the Trop. This is about the first full year for the "new" Trop. Hard to say how well it will be accepted by "around 30" demographic.
