tropicana pool question

The old Tropicana used to have swim up Black Jack in the pool. I am staying at Mandalay Bay and would like to go over to the Trop and play some pool Blackjack. I had heard the pool was under construction and did not know if they took the tables out. Also can anyone use the pool black jack tables or do you have to be a hotel guest. I dont think Mandalay Bay has swim up gambling or do they .

They still have the swim up Black Jack but I haven't seen anybody playing at those tables during my last 4 trips. I think your best chance is in May, June, July, August and September. Rest of the year, no open tables.

I think it's fairly easy to stay at the Trop pool of you're no a guest. Never encountered any security over their checking your room keycard.
