Trump cuts unemployment by 90 percent.

Candidate Donald said to ignore the so-called unemployment rates, which he claimed were garbage. He said the rate was close to 40%. Today he's taking credit for the 4.7 rate.
Evidently, you can fool some of the people all of the time.
235k jobs added
unemployment down to 4.7%
u6 rate down
Adult employment rate up

All good, due to a more positive economic outlook
The Hoops-O-Meter for measuring unemployment has been recalibrated to ignore Food Stamps, Workforce Participation, and Golf.
Just like I predicted. I hope that 8 years of crying didn't cause any permanent emotional scars.
I can't remember the last time those 4 job indicators were positive in the same month

235k jobs added
unemployment down to 4.7%
u6 rate down
Adult employment rate up

I cant remember the last time Hoops recognized the unemployment number and job creation as valid statisitics.

You can watch him make a fool of himself just 2 months ago decrying those very metrics.

Thread
Someday, the time may come when we indeed have to look back an entire month to find hoops making a fool of himself.
Someday. Just not today.
Billy and PJ, when was the last time that those four indicators were positive in the same month?

I'm not arguing the positive nature of the numbers. I'm not a hypocrite with different metrics for different administrations.

Please review the referenced thread above to see the people who are.
pj could get a job at cnn, so he can misrepresent stories.

In the thread that he posted I said the 4.7% rate was low becasue people were dropping out of the workforce as shown by the decreasing adult participation rate.

This past February the unemployment rate remained low even though the workforce grew as one can see by the increasing adult participation rate
Anyone left or right who thinks that the unemployment or inflation numbers are accurate, is kidding themselves. Over the years politicians have edited the math to suit themselves. My hope would be that the new administration would fix the calculations. I doubt he can do that until he does some swamp draining.

The 2018 mid terms are already looking interesting.
