Amazing how one has to keep repeating the same info.

The old " keep telling the same lie over and over again" theorem. Good to see some weak minds still fall for it.

No on really knows the future - but we all know the past 8 years of lies, race baiting, vacations and, of course, Obeymecare. Trump will spend the next 3-4 years cleaning up the mess that Obeyme, Harry Reid and those loser Democrats have made.
It is amusing to watch all the conservatives embrace socialism, and renounce free market capitalism. I don't disagree with government dictating to big business. In fact, I say it is about damn time, but then again those have always been my beliefs. Just remember, it was a Republican that ushered in this new era of socialism.

Most Trump supporters realize he isn't a hard core conservative ideologue. Heck, he was for the GM bailout, lets Caitlyn Jenner use the women's restroom at Trump Tower and was to the left of Hillary on plenty of issues. He's a Novus Republican.

You know just about every state and city in this country offers incentives to businesses to locate there. Does that make them 'socialists'. To keep 1100 tax paying employees and have a company commit to 16 million in Cap Ex, my local government would roll out the green carpet of tax incentives. This is reality. This is nothing new. It's no big deal. I'm looking forward to the Veteris Republicans and Old Democrats going crazy over the real 'The Big Deals'....whatever they may be.

there is absolutely nothing new about it. Every Republican administration over the last century has embraced Keynesian economics and government subsidies to the economy - probably nobody more so than the diety of small government ideology, Ronald Reagan. Because it works.

The only time they bitch about government spending and economic intervention is when they are out of power. ...like they've done for the last 8 years. And that's sad.

The country was in a massive economic recession in 2009. Republicans chose to play politics instead of help....and the bullshit excuse they made is proven to be just that - because they are now pursuing the same strategy they cried bloody murder about under Obama..

Oh - and its not just economic policy. Trump is already rolling back his immigration promises and pursuing a policy more akin to Obama's. Senate Republicans are currently drafting an amnesty LAW that will implement the same executive order protecting illegal immigrants that they've blasted Obama.

You cant act like a neandrathal when you have to govern. Republicans are quickly moving away from the David Duke wing of their party towards the center. This is a positive development but also shines light on their "deplorable" behavior for the last 8 years.

.
Kind of like the way Democrats only bitch about the national debt when they are out of power.

"The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion dollars for the first 42 presidents — number 43 added $4 trillion dollars by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion dollars of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child.
That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.”

And how much debt do our children have to pay back now? How much did President Obama add 'by his lonesome'? Is he irresponsible and unpatriotic? What happened to his 'Bipartisan Debt Commission'? Hey! Maybe we just can't trust politicians! And that's sad.

You mean the deficit that's been cut by 2/3 under Obama? Is that what you're complaining about? Or is it the balanced budget by the Democrat president before him, Bill Clinton? Democrats' records on deficits are light years beyond Republicans both when they are in and out of the White House.

Regardless, the country having a debt is not an economic ideology....it's an attribute of bad budgeting. Democrats don't toggle their ideology depending on who owns the White House.

No....not me. We're talking about Hypocrisy. . President Obama was specifically complaining about the National Debt under Bush, right? He said it was unpatriotic and irresponsible that President Bush 'added 4 trillion by his lonesome'. And how much has President Obama added to it 'all by his lonesome'? When everything is said and done, it will be close to 8 Trillion 'all by his lonesome'. It will in fact, be more than any other president in US history. Irresponsible? Unpatriotic? The Hypocrisy runs deep.

You want my take on it? No? Ok you'll get it anyway. George Bush and Barak Obama WERE BOTH UNPATRIOTIC AND IRRESPONSIBLE for allowing our National debt to go from 5 Trillion to 20 Trillion and future generations of Americans will pay for it dearly. Democrats and Republicans both controlled houses of congress during this irresponsible borrowing spree. Will Trump and the Republicans make it worse? I'd bet they will, but I'll give them a chance to prove me wrong. I really think our only chance in the long run is a Constitutional Amendment for a Balanced Budget.

But back to the topic at hand. I have no issue with Republicans, Democrats, City, State or Federal government trying to keep business from leaving the country....as long as they're smart about it.
