This is why I enjoy these posts. I point out conservative hypocrisy, and rather than simply admit that the candidates do not know who attends their rallies, they double down on the crazy talk.

Yeah, maybe it was when I started this thread with an unattributed quote from Hoops 2 circa yesterday.

In order to sit that close to the candidate & be on screen you have to be invited. The democrats knew who he was & once again you see their tacit approval of terrorism.

Have you ever actually been to a Presidential political rally? I've been to several.

VIP's are typically right up front, NOT behind the candidate, and I've actually seen entry into the VIP section enforced by the Secret Service. The people in the background, are almost always anonymous so they don't distract from the candidate, and are often chosen for their apparent enthusiasm, age, and racial makeup. They are there to make for a good backdrop and are never supposed to be in the foreground.

So at both rallies, the candidate's organizers made minor tactical mistakes by having well known and allegedly notorious individuals in the background, and only stupid people think it's a big deal. But if that's all you got...

The key point is that the media makes a big deal out of every Trump statement, but ignores clinton mistakes.

In October 2012 I attended Obama's speech at Doolittle Park in Las Vegas. I went through a metal detector and got patted down, and since I arrived early (and Katy Perry was scheduled to perform at an alternate stage) I was able to stand in the very front of the non-VIP section. The VIP section was maybe three people deep before the rope line, so I was damn close.

Unless the Obama campaign was employing some kind of facial recognition software, the only thing they knew about me was that I wasn't carrying. Some of the people I had direct conversations with before the rally were able to shake hands with the president.

I knew republicans like to hold the children of people who come here illegally responsible for their parents crimes, but now the parents of criminals are held responsible for their kids crimes?
Yet Gold Star parents are said to have sacrificed nothing.
It looks like the party has not only lost its way, but it's lost its soul and any sense of decency.
