Trump is moving into the White House by himself.

Boiler believes that President Trump will make this happen. The White House is secure, they can make Trump tower secure, and they can have air support.

If Trump and not the taxpayers, make it happen I am fine with it. It will cost over a billion for just the Secret Service personnel alone. All the businesses near Trump Tower are going to have to be compensated for business interruption losses as well.

It doesn’t matter if it is the other way around. They are part of the first family and must be provided Secret Service protection and a professional staff while in New York. Then secured private transportation to and from New York to Washington. It is currently costing the taxpayer over a million dollars a day to protect the Trump Tower and if Melania and Baron stay those costs are going to be ongoing.

The Washington Post had an article on what Trumps continued presence in NY would cost. It wasn't pretty, both in money and the strain on the agencies involved. The Secret Service simply isn't set up to run in two cities. Hundreds of agents would be forced to relocate, NYC would have to choose between taking several hundred cops away from other duties or pay hundreds of millions in overtime. Remember, for every posted officer, you are really tying up four. Cops work forty hour weeks, but the post must be filled one hundred and sixty eight hours. Plus Supervisors.
If you think Obama's golf games were expensive, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Nevermind. I thought you were complaining about The Donald's dedication to the job if he was taking weekends off rather than the expense of protecting the First Family.
