Last year there was disappointment among those who enjoy Christmas, when Starbucks "Holiday Cup" was a plain red cup.

So this year Starbucks had a plan: the Corporate Corporateers who make such decisions went out and hired 13 women artists, including 6 foreigners, to design the Starbucks Holiday Cups, . . . apparently to celebrate "internationalism and women".

As Frank Cerabino of the Palm Beach Post laments:
"I think they were imagining their cups would be unveiled after the election of Hillary Clinton as America’s first woman president.
'Merry Christmas' is not on the cups. Just red-and-white cups with reindeer, snowflakes and other generic holiday designs.
This might have been harmonious with a President-elect Clinton, but seems jarringly out of step with this new direction we seem to be on.

DonDiego rarely patronizes Starbucks retail outlets, and almost exclusively when traveling. . . just because it is s-o-o-o-o-o-o-o much cheaper to brew one's coffee at home.
Because Starbucks coffee is preferred by teechur there's always some in the house. DonDiego purchases lots of different brands of coffee for at home use, . . . sometimes for variety, sometimes 'cause it's what's on sale, . . . and he enjoys them all, even Starbucks.

Here's the beginning of that video and the guy wasn't throwing a tantrum at all, the starbucks guy was refusing him service because he wanted Trump on his coffee and the worker told another one "call the cops"., he wasn't being belligerent at all, a little irked (I would be too), but It was nothing more than that. The guy caught it all on his phone.

DonDiego does not think this is the beginning of the original video cited in this thread. Once the story of the original video of the fellow behaving ungentlemanly at Starbucks because his coffee was delayed surfaced, . . . it became a "thing" for Trump supporters to patronize Starbucks and request "Trump" be written on their cups. This video documents one of these occurrences where the Starbucks employee refuses and then he calls the cops.

It seems to poor old DonDiego that in the spirit of "the customer is always right" the barista should identify the customer's cup however the customer requests, so long as it is not obscene, lewd, or otherwise uncivil.

But apparently calling the cops is what a snowflake does nowadays.

Yes, this is a different person/video. If some Trumpkin came into where I worked, stuck a video camera in my face and insisted I write Trump on his cup, my response would be to call the cops too.
