The Republican elites will select the Republican nominee at the convention, and it won’t be Trump. Republican insiders already know this and this is why there is such a struggle over who is third and it is the reason Bush, Kasich and Rubio are spending all of their time campaigning and throwing bombs at one another other rather than at the two guys that are beating them (Trump and Cruz) among Republican voters. They know the real prize awaits them at the convention.
