Indeed.

And a very brief search reveals the German WWII era uniforms on reenactors, . . . not real SS Soldaten, . . . umm, soldiers. (Entschuldigen Sie much, bitte.)

I'm sure that the intern who made that collage didn't know that at the time they made it. I'm also sure they know it now.

I concur. But it's fun to poke fun at Trump.

And Hillary
Where is he 'saluting' those Nazis? Maybe he's going to fire them. It must be a warning. 'The Nazis are coming, The Nazis are coming'.

Yep, apparently they are, still doesn't look like it to me.

"NEW YORK — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign on Tuesday inadvertently tweeted a promotional photo featuring what appeared to be Nazi German soldiers superimposed on the U.S. flag ..."
"..The gaffe, which Trump's campaign blamed on an intern, comes after he provoked controversy with comments about Mexican rapists immigrating to the United States..."

BTW I don't see Trump saluting anybody or thing here, where did that come from?

I think malliber is being a little free and loose with the actual facts. I too, questioned if those were German uniforms until I saw an enlarged picture. It appears that the middle two guys have the German eagle emblem on their sleeves.
I'm not one to pounce on gaffs - unless they're really funny ones. I'm much more concerned about the Donald's trigger happy rhetoric on the middle east. It seems to be popular enough with his base that its pushed him high into first place in the GOP polls. I guess a great deal of people didn't learn anything from Iraq.
I learned that Obama's cut and run strategy promoted ISIS from the JV to the varsity....
Cut and run? Did someone say cut and run?

A good friend of mine laid in the rubble for over 48 hours. His mother didn't know if he was alive or dead for over three days. He had a piece of rebar go through his leg among other injuries.

When he became a marine reservist he joined the fire service. He worked on the same fire engine as me.

Every once in a while somebody who didn't know would ask "who drives the truck with the purple heart license plate? My man would then explain how he got that purple heart. He would describe hearing his buddies calling out in the darkness and then hearing them take their last breath.

Hearing his description of events would make even the most hardened firefighter reach for the Kleenex.
