Oh goodness ! It seems there is more to this episode than meets the eye, or at least NBC-Madison's eye.

In any case, they have cleverly edited their video to obscure the complete story.

It would seem the poor young thing punched a man.

Now in poor old DonDiego's world a man should never punch a girl or woman, . . . but then a girl or woman shouldn't punch a man either; in fact, in poor old DonDiego's world people should not be punching one another generally.
But in the real world the general rule under The Law is he who throws the first punch is the legally responsible for the the fight. And in this case, although not shown on the NBC-Madison video the, . . . umm, . . . young lady, . . . yeah, that's the ticket, . . ."young lady". . . threw the only punch. Immediately after which she was maced, and the fight ceased.

[Just to clarify, the young lady who was maced in the NBC-Madison video only "caught" the overspray aimed at the puncher.]

She'll be relieved to know that she was not a victim of an assault because the man who maced her was aiming at someone else.

DonDiego will be discouraged to learn police do not share this relief. They are asking for help identifying the man who used pepper spray to defend himself from the life-and-death struggle with a teenage girl - and shot someone else in the face. Score one for Team Trump - making America great again.

She punched the old coot because he grabbed her breasts and squeezed them. What kind of man pepper spays a 15-year-old girl?

Liberal girls always demand is equal rights, when what they actually expect is "special rights". Unfortunately for this Liberal girl, all she got in this case was equal rights.

Do Liberal girls want equality or not, as I'm confused. PJ is certainly implying that this girl should not be treated as an equal to men.

Actually at least 3 "protestors" were affected by the "mace" and its overspray.

From the video DonDiego is not able to determine if the young lady was, in fact, groped. Or even if the man she punched was the "claimed" groper.

If she were to have been groped the appropriate response would be to identify the groper clearly, line up witnesses who saw the grope, and notify the proper authorities, i.e the police.
Then an appropriate arrest, hearing, trial, verdict, and punishment (if any) could have been rendered.

What the young lady, in fact, did was to punch someone.
She is easily recognizable on the tape, and she is the only person who clearly assaulted anyone, . . . even if ineffectively; for such a big lady she seems to punch like a girl.
[n.b. DonDiego does not know if the person spraying the mace was the object of the punch or just an ally of the object of the punch.]

She really must learn to control her emotions.

For the record DonDiego disapproves of any violence at "political protests" by anyone. Meaningful discussion would be preferable. Barring that mindless chanting of political slogans would be acceptable. And inevitable. But physical violence is a no-no in DonDiego opinion.

The exception to non-violence would be if a "political protest" becomes something else altogether. At that point whoever joins in the "revolution", or whoever opposes it, may resort to any tactic they choose. And once the the winner(s) are determined they may summarily execute the losers. That is after all the point of a revolution: to change the rules. Once a winner is determined, he will get to make all the new rules.

Even then, poor old DonDiego would most likely be found on Tomato Ranch Ridge defending his home from whomever assaults it.

Wow. Are you telling me that a Liberal network, Liberal reporters, all from a Liberal town edited a video in such a way in an attempt to misrepresent the truth?

The man who pepper sprayed her wasn't the old coot she punched. It was the man behind him...in the red "Make America Great Again" hat.
