Trump’s Textbook Racism

Claiming a person can’t do a job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment. I think that should be absolutely disavowed. It’s absolutely unacceptable, but do I believe that Hillary Clinton is the answer? No, I do not. - Paul Ryan

It is very amusing watching all of these Republican office holders performing verbal gymnastics. On the one hand, they condemn Trump’s repeated statements about an Indiana born judge as racist, but then then on the other hand, most of them still sheepishly concede they are voting for him or endorsing him in the election. Here is a hint. If you support someone you freely admit regularly engages in textbook racism, that makes you a racist too. Lindsey Graham is ahead of the curve on this one.

There are a lot of people who want to be loyal to the Republican Party, including me,” he said. “But there’ll come a point in time where we’re gonna have to understand that it’s not just about the 2016 race, it’s about the future of the party and I would like to support our nominee. I just can’t. - Lindsey Graham

I guess this means you won't be endorsing Trump.

Damn Democrats. Why can't they be non-partisan like the Republicans?

Nero continues to fiddle while Rome continues to burn.
Most Americans of Mexican descent has a strong opinion regarding the Mexican wall that Trump proposes. History proves that many judges allow their personal preferences to influence their rulings.

Anyone who doesn't understand this is a dummy.

In 2001, Sonia Sotomayor, an appeals court judge, gave a speech declaring that the ethnicity and sex of a judge “may and will make a difference in our judging.”

In her speech, Judge Sotomayor questioned the famous notion — often invoked by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and her retired Supreme Court colleague, Sandra Day O’Connor — that a wise old man and a wise old woman would reach the same conclusion when deciding cases.

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life,” said Judge Sotomayor, . . .

Sotomayor was saying because of her heritage she relates to everyday people better and brings less bias to bench. Trump is saying that this judge brings more bias to the bench because of his heritage.

Most Americans have very strong opinions on the wall. Does that mean no one can judge this case?

Anyone pretending Donnie is a serious candidate is smoking crack. The party elite made it clear to him in no uncertain terms yesterday, tow the line or we abandon you. The D-man is so dull he can't understand why everyone is so sensitive. This will be the most entertaining election cycle ever. Trump will lose in such a landslide that the GOP will have to reform. Remember you read it here first. The GOP can keep the science deniers, racists, tax cheats, secessionists etc. They can rename themselves the pin-heads. Educated conservatives can form a new party.
