Turkey injection

Does anyone else use a tukey injector to flavor their bird? I finally bought one and reading some different marinades for it and am not sure which way I want to go. Does anyone else use one? If so, I was wondering what sort of recipe/marinade you use.
Sounds kinky ! ! !

DonDiego suggests one not overdo it when injecting one's turkey. Carried to excess it may be illegal.
Bourbon?
Call me a purist, but what's wrong with a turkey cooked traditionally?
Who needs injections of flavorings and marinades? It's not too late to go and buy a nice plump Tofurky.

I just toss it in the oven. It's one if the simplest meals to cook.

On the turkey I generously spray oil (butter flavor if you wish),
and sprinkle freshly chopped celery leaves and thyme.
Inside the turkey cavity I loosely toss some sliced onion,
a couple of sliced garlic cloves, some celery, some thyme, and 1/2 of a lemon (sliced).
That's it. No basting. No injecting. Just wait for the pop-up timer to say "done".

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY !!!

Rick
I do the barbecue or smoker. I don't have turkey duty this year.
Why not lemon turkey?

Next year is grapefruit turkey.
It sure won't hurt the bird, just ensure you do the injecting under the skin.
