Two Interesting Headlines related to Global Warming

Governor Jerry Brown believes Ted Cruz is "absolutely unfit" to run for President because he does not believe man is responsible for the imminent apocalypse of man-made global warming.

Who would make a better President - Ted Cruz or Jerry Brown?
Jerry Brown
Jerry Brown is in the back pockets of these people who are bilking California for billions for a bullet train between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Right now it doesn't even begin to match what was on the proposition.
If your guy who quit Greenpeace 28 years ago was actually a scientist (he isn't) and actually published in a peer reviewed journal (he didn't), that would make......................two!

There was also a time when > 99% of scientists believed the world was flat --- but they did not "fudge" the data back then ;-)
I wonder if Forkie ever heard of peer pressure plus government grants?

According to...wait for it...Andrew K. A blogger. Andrew K., who won't even reveal his last name. Who couldn't get published in a peer reviewed journal with a gun. And look what he has posted at the very tippy top of his blog:

That's not an ad, that's his latest post. Hey, look at these kewl cameras! And he illustrates stories about scientists that he dislikes with pictures of communist flags. Wow, can't you just smell the scientific credibility?

On the other hand, my stats were gathered by a guy who holds a Ph.D. in Geochemistry from MIT, has served as the president of two universities, and the president of two science museums. Oh, and Presidents Reagan and Bush I both appointed him to the National Science Board, where he served for 12 years.

Versus the blogger with no last name. Who ya gonna trust?
Scientists have measured this past Winter to be the warmest on record since temperatures have been recorded. But the chairman of the Senate Environmental committee chair (Jim Enhoffe) laughed it off by producing a snowball on the Senate Floor. The crux of his argument is that it snowed in the Winter time. This is the IQ brought to the debate by birthers.
If Forkie's logic is correct and consistent, then we can all agree that Bill Gates knows nothing about computer software.

Winter just ended last week, so could they have all that data already.

23 degrees in the frozen apple today; 5 inches of snow on the first day of spring
