It doesn't even take into acount the Medieval Warming Period when the Vikings were able to settle in Greenland & call it that becuase it was green.
It also conveniently starts in 1880 when it is accepted that the Little Ice Age ended. So they are starting with the coldest point.
Isn't NOAA the group that recently stated that 2014 was the warmest year & when pressed admitted there was only a 38% chance it was right?
So if the earth is really warming, shouldn't that be regarded as a good thing? That would mean there is more land availble for people to live on, grow more food & in general be more productive?

pjstroh replies Hence the phrase "on record" in my statement. Consult a dictionary as you seem to be confused by the English language. You challenged the statement's accuracy by suggesting the data could not be in yet (It is)....and you shrugged its accuracy because there's snow outside your window (and I had a good laugh).

and I say
By "more land" you obviously aren't referring to Miami.
The internet provides a wealth of predictions by the same informed scientists you think you are smarter than. Most of them are pretty devastating. So far the ony thing those scientists have been incorrect about is the rate of change they initially forecasted....its now being measured to be happening at a far more accelerated pace.
But its hard to discuss scientific measurments with people who refute climate change based on the observation of snow in the winter time. I find its better to just laugh.
