The shooter(s) are vile and stupid people. Beyond the inexcusable act of violence the incident goes much further into undermining the legitimate problems in Ferguson. They are actually hurting their own cause and the cause of other protestors.
I hope they are caught and aggressively prosecuted.
Neither was from the Ferguson Police Force. One was from St. Louis County PD and the other Webster Groves PD. I guess a cop-hater does care where they are from.

The accuracy of the statement pertaining to motive depends upon what the "cause" of the shooter/shooters is. DonDiego agrees with pjstroh's hope.

I read the St. Louis Post-Dispatch article and I paraphrase the pastor who's a Bishop or Bishop who is a pastor said the misguided young man was merely shooting in the air with his 40 caliber to scare someone who had robbed him. He showed great remorse to the Pastor/ Bishop. That's good enough for me, please release him without any charges.
