Did I mention he's white? Its important we note he's white so we can draw conclusions about the greater race as a whole.
Oh my, . . . a White man shot some people. DonDiego has actually heard of such behavior before. It would be interesting to know his background to determine if it might be possible to reduce such behavior by anyone else.
White people shoot people; Hispanic people shoot people; Black people shoot people. [DonDiego does not wish to offend any racial group by leaving them off the list, but he has to stop somewhere.]
One could just "draw a conclusion", . . . or one could look at data:
"According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, homicide was indeed the No. 1 killer of black men between the ages of 15 and 34 in 2011, the most recent year with statistics available. Accidents were the second leading cause of death.
Compared to other ethnicities, the numbers really stand out. Forty percent of African-American males 15-34 who died were murdered, according to the CDC, compared to just 3.8 percent of white males who died. Overall, 14 percent of all men 15-34 who died in 2011 were murdered."

Fact: Proportional to their population within the United States Black people shoot more often and Black people die more often by homicide.
Sociologists recognize this; the late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan recognized this; DonDiego recognizes this.
DonDiego does not opine this is because of pigmentation; it is because of the society in which they live.
DonDiego would like to see the homicide rates for each and every race evened out a bit, . . . preferably by lowering the higher rates as opposed to raising the lower rates. But it is less likely if the impacts of different social-groups, . . . resulting in different behaviors, even different predominantly by race, are not recognized and dealt with.
