Two trips after 3 year break

I used to make a yearly trip to Vegas. My last trip was in October 2008. Two months later I was laid off from my job of 14 years. I spent 18 months out of work. It was kind of hard to justify a trip when you're not sure when you will be working again. I started working again in September so I booked a trip for October this year. Shortly after that my buddies decided they wanted to go to the 2011 Las Vegas Invitational basketball tourney to see our beloved Tarheels. A great excuse to go back. So I booked that trip too. So now after a 3 year break I get to go twice in 1 month. Can't wait.

Yeah, it kinda gets under your skin huh?

Heading out tomorrow for Vegas.

i cant think of any better way to celebrate going back to work than with two trips to vegas.

My two Vegas trips that were closest to each other was back to back weekends. Usually I'm sad leaving Vegas, but when you know you are returning in five days, it isn't a big deal.
