Unbelievable

The thing I can not understand is if a thread is political or becomes political, there is nothing that says that anyone has to read the thread. In other words, if you don't want to read a political thread then don't read it.
I have to agree, don't read something you don't want to. I also agree the ugly fighting on the subject has no place here, but if a pretty civil discussion is going on and it turns into something you don't care for, don't continue reading it. Pretty simple i think,i certainly don't keep reading a thread i don't care for and many i don't click on at all if the title isn't appealing to me,again simple enough.
I wll also reitertate that there should be boundaries, after all its a vegas message bd. but if a 24 page thread can go on about sharlene and some of the other lengthy threads why are some civil ones whacked? If it supposed to be strictly vegas, theres trip advisor and open vegas<shudder> for that atmopsphere(which becomes a yawnfest really quick.

Sorry, just MHO and i won't say anymore about it.

I believe the mods have asked for no political threads, NOT for "if you don't want to read a political thread then don't read it." I guess that concept really is hard to grasp.
discostu- No, smart ass, it isn't hard to grasp. It just does not make sense when one can choose not to read a thread instead of complaining. The only reason the "mods" asked for no political threads is because of all of the whiners who can't grasp the concept of not reading a thread if it is political.

But now there is just one point...no political threads. It doesn't matter if the world reads them or just one person reads them. Wait, if there is a political thread but no one reads it is it still a political thread?

It's because the board then becomes innundated with political threads. The thing I can't believe is that people continue to do this, when they have been asked not to do it.
Sorry one final say. I was referring to the CHEVY VOLT threads, nothing like bush is evil or obama is an incompetent oaf titled thread, It wa a car thread!Reread evry post i nade here guys, reading comprehension please.

JOHN
Maybe you need some reading comprehension lessons.

The chevy volt threads, also known as the "government motors" thread ALWAYS led to a bickering between the typical douches over right side/left side, and ended up in a name calling fiesta!

These dopes just can't help themselves!

I agree with Roulette man and DiscoStu...if this web site explicitly states that political threads will not be tolerated, then why do they keep pushing the envelope and keep starting new ones daily??

Why not just go to a web site that encourages political bickering??

Ody...let the bannings begin!!

Middle age hasn't matched up very nicely with the Dice Man. I don't know if you watched him in the last season of Entourage?
