In the "broad" unemployment report, yes they are counted as employed. But in the finer breakdown they are included among those "underemployed."

Wow, Forkie believes it's okay to hope for racists to die. Is it also acceptable for us to root for blacks to die since they're more likely to commit crime? Is it acceptable to hope that gays die since they are quite different, yet outstanding hairdressers?

Actually, she was pointing out that for racism to die out, racists have to die out: "There are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die."

Marinated? Do you think she was talking about Paula Deen?

Anyway, racists (NOT old people) dying out (due to natural causes!) is a good thing. Plus the generation that is replacing them is much more likely to speak more than one language, and much less likely to need a lot of sunscreen.

Gotta love Oprah getting a pass on fat jokes and asking for old people to "just die" ---- but that is the media world we live in.

A good rule of thumb is not to trust anyone who has not driven a vehicle in 20 years ----- I think that include Oprah and Hillary, but not Mitt Romney. Go figure!

Okay, this seems like the smart way to play this one: If jatki says to bet on the Broncos, take the Seahawks. And vice-versa. He's really sucky at this predicting stuff.
