VEGAS CAESARS PALACE TRIP REPORT! OVER 250 PICTURES! WOW!

Had a great time memorial day weekend in vegas and here are the pictures as promised! It was 3 comped days at Caesars Palace, wanted to detail this trip a bit more but wanted to get these pictures out!

This was my second time staying at this hotel. Had a forum level room #5602. Two cordless telephones, bed was comfy, TV
built into the bathroom mirror which I thought was cool with a remote built into the bathroom wall to change channel and turn
up the volume which sounded excellent due to the bose speakers. Didn’t have a view of the strip but for free I’m not complaining! Room had a snack bar which we didn’t touch!
It was about $12 bucks a pop, no thank you! Also a flat screen sony
TV in the bedroom! The bathroom was just a walk in shower with two shower-heads. Closet had two robes and a safe, iron and board etc.

I like that all you have to do is hit the privacy or maid service button from inside your room!

Out in the hallway!

We were so tired and decided to just have dinner at the cheesecake factory and gamble at caesars and get a good night sleep
for the next couple of days of fun! I know some of you ask me, where do you get those long drinks that people walk around with?
There is a fat-tuesday bar in the forum shops right across from the cheesecake factory! I usually get the 190 Octane
with a shot of whatever I’m feeling at the time for a $1 more! Yards are $12 and monster yards are $16, awesome place if you’re looking for good cold cheap drinks!
Later that night I woke up around 2am and went outside.
Got a few night pictures in! Memorial day wasn’t as busy! Hotel check in was only 10 minute before I got my room keyes! Pictures of caesars palace here.

Day-2

This is the day me and my partner wanted to check out the downtown area as she never been so off we go
Downtown. Took a couple of shot along the way! First two are TI shots!

Walking through Mirage!

Stopped by the mall across from treasure island on the strip to look around!

We ended up having lunch at the golden gate casino and since I was there, might as well sign up for their players card! sweet is that! Shrimp cocktail is AWESOME! It was soo good I ended up getting 2 of them just for me! OMG they are delicious!
Did you know when you sign up you also get a free shrimp cocktail coupon?

This place is a gem, did a little bit of gaming but didn’t win anything. After a wonderful lunch we headed outside and got a couple of margaritas from the bar right in front of the golden gate.
Made our way to the counter and order a couple of shrimp cocktails with chicken noodle soup and sodas, total was $7.50!
After we just wondered around with me showing my partner
all the stuff downtown had to offer! She really enjoyed herself as I was to! I spotted a beef jerky store off Fremont street
and wanted to check it out! I cant remember this being here but the woman that worked there said its been there for 18 years!
They have A LOT of goodies inside! I loaded up on the roasted salted pistachios and beef jerky! We headed back to Fremont
street and what the hell? We see people zipping by on screaming from the sky? They now have a flight-line center where you can now I guess zip your way around downtown.

Coming back we stopped by slots of fun and circus circus! Megabucks was up to 10 million.

Walking to the wynn i got some more shots in!

The wynn Hot damn, there is security just about EVERYWHERE in this hotel, at the doors, on the strip side walk in front of
the hotel watching the wynn beach balconies, just about everywhere you turn, there was a guard! Hotel was very beautiful! Took some shots of the theater and bar area also!
Played some slots here and walked out $200 winners! After we headed across
the street to the mall and bought a couple of things! Spent the rest of the day going through shops and gaming at certain hotels!

The last time I was in vegas I had lobster rools at Todd’s English P.U.B which was good but if you really want some GOOD
LOBSTER ROLLS! RM seafood at Mandalay Bay are SUPER GOOD! Damn it was expensive and we knew it walking into the join! Figured
we would just use the $200 bucks we won from wynn for this lunch. Lobster rolls here hit me for $27 bucks but damn the lobster meat was fresh, not on a new england style roll but two pieces of toasted bread,
I would give it a solid 8. You can ONLY get the lobster rolls during lunch.
My girl had the oyster sampler! Pretty good stuff!

After lunch we head through the Mandalay place and did more shopping.

Minus 5 Bar, didnt go in the ice-louge but they said everything is ice expect the floor and ceiling!

Mandalay Place, stopped by Arts of Shaving and picked up some goodies!

Were on our way to the Luxor to play some black jack and slots, very cool how they have all these casinos linked out with passage walkways now!
Made it to Luxor and we walked out $300 winners off blackjack and slots (wheel of fortune) combined!

Next stop was Excalibur, then on to NYNY! It was around 3pm when we hit NYNY and wanted to found a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream
parlor as my town doesn’t have one! Made our way back to caesars as we were tired and pretty much hit the forum shop, called it a night and order room service.
Acourse after having room service and laying down a little, looking at the clock seeing
that it was only 7pm i knew I was going to find myself back in the casino playing the games I wanted to! So I wanted to sign up for the 7pm poker tourney at caesars for $140 bucks!
Did horrible, just couldn’t win a pot to save my life! I was done in
about an hour going out with A-7 suited (because i had about two big blinds left before I was blinded out) vs A-K, nothing came on the flop so I’m done!
Made my way to the tables again playing 3-card poker and blackjack! Won $100 bucks going up and
down but nothing special! Spent the rest of the night playing nickel machines getting free drinks from the waitress that just kept bringing me Jack & Cokes all night long,
must have been 5-6 of them! By the time I was done gaming it was around 11pm,
headed off to bed! More pictures of Excalibur and NYNY.

Day-3
Were both up and full of energy, we are ready to check out the newer hotels Cystals, Aria, Cosmopolitan etc on the strip and
stop by Bellagio to see what garden theme they had setup. So we hit Crystal shopping center! Just basically window shop and see what this place had in-store! It was very nice!
I like the Mastro’s ocean club restaurant, very cool outside setup! Made
our way around crystals into Aria!

Then it was on to the Monte Carlo. I didn’t know they had a beach theme volleyball court.

Next we went to visit the Bellagio and see what Memorial Day theme they had going on! We took a walk through the Bellagio
convention area and man! They must have like 50 conference rooms because they have at least 4 hall-ways of conference rooms, one was open and
the guard gave me the OK to take a couple of shots inside one of the rooms!

Some more shots going to cosmo!

Next we make our way to Cosmopolitan! This is truly a BEAUTIFUL CASINO! I really dig the inside, heard their buffet (wicked
spoon) is one of the best in vegas but we opt on trying the Bellagio for now! Maybe I will check this place out on our July trip!

We finished the day off having dinner at the Bellagio buffet! For $40 I think it was worth it! Ended up eating TONS of crab legs and prime rib! Line wait was about an hour to get in!
It was packed! We had to be rolled out of the joint!

Saw a very cool roulette machine which seated I believe 6 people! The cool thing about this is you can play cheap as low as 50-cents up to $100.
Made our way back to caesars and called it a day! Hope you enjoyed all the pictures!!

Very nice TR!

I figured it would be packed, what happened to all the people?
what is palace level? That appears to be a Forum Tower room (renovated circa 2008). Is palace level a special floor in that tower or something?

where was that roulette game in the last pic? I have seen those before, but it was locally and a few years ago.

Wow that's a lot of pics! This page loaded so sloooooooow! Probably would have been easier to load that many pics to photobucket and just provide a link.

Thank you very much Kev for the trip report and all those wonderful pictures!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time!

Karen you are CORRECT! Thank you for pointing that out! It was a forum tower room! The roulette was at the Bellagio.
Loved all the pictures; thank you for taking the time to post them all. I almost felt like I was there!
Thank you for the great pictures. Is there another city on earth that oozes as much fun as what you see in those pics??

Gosh, did you have time left to enjoy yourself?
Awesome trip report! That's the most photos I've seen in one here - but well worth a look. I haven't made it to Vegas for a while, so it was great to see photos of the areas and how they've changed.

Hope your luck was good and that you managed to make a few dollars along the way!
Thanks for the report and all of the great pictures. I am heading there in 30 days

and will be staying in the forum tower for two of my nights, so it was great to see your

pics of the room.

The page did not load slowly for me at all.

Cheers.
