VEGAS CLUB

When we stayed at the Vegas Club in Sept 2010 we were allowed access to the Plaza pool with a swipe card. We are thinking of returning in Sept this year but can't find anything on their website to say whether this is still the case. We have tried emailing the Vegas Club but all emails are returned saying in box is full and we've tried emailing the Plaza but they haven't replied

Does anyone have any info on this, please?
That has always been the policy in the past. No reason to believe its any different now.
But why not stay at the Plaza itself? The rooms are nicer and go for about the same price.
I was in Vegas for 10 days last month and went into the Vegas Club one of those days and went to the front desk, I stayed there a couple months prior, anyways the only thing at the front desk was a sign stating that they closed down there rooms and are taking reservations at the Plaza only, thats why you are not getting a respose from them.

Correct, Vegas Club hotel is closed but the casino remains open.

Downtown has had a significant drop in hotel rooms over the past 10 years with closing of Lady Luck and the hotels at Binions and Vegas Club.
As I stated the rooms are closed down, never did I mention that the rest of the Casino is closed, if anyone thought that.
Thanks for all the replies.

The reason I asked this question is that we are from the UK and the Vegas Club still comes up as an option on expedia, ebookers etc when we try to book a vacation but there is no option to book the Plaza.

We will now look at other options.
I thought the Vegas Club was only closing one tower. Maybe not.
Try hotwire.com I got the Plaza for 29 bucks a night in Feb......when you look for Downtown 3 star hotel.........if you look on the Plaza web site its like 50 bucks a night. Good luck!
If you have to worry about whether or not a hotel is open for business, it's probably a good idea to stay elsewhere, especially in a city with 100000 or so rooms. After all, it's not as if Vegas Club is even a nice place .......
