Great location though.

The Plaza's own website tends to have good offers, and if you give them your email they will contact you directly with rate offers.

Depending on the size of your party the rooms at Golden Gate are also cool (no more then 2 to a room is advised though)

Golden Nugget tends to have fairly good deals too on their website.

Don't forget to try other travel sites (kayak.com, hotels.com, hotwire, and priceline) as the deal might get a little better.

FYI, the vegas club rooms are sort of open. I am staying there right now, checking out tomorrow (monday). I have a reservation through hotels dot com for monday through friday (jan 16 -20) also but they are moving me over to the plaza. they said that people are still staying at lvc (I was there from friday to monday) and they are closing off the rooms as people check out, right now no new arrivals. Not sure when they will reopen the rooms, maybe in the spring?

I would say if you can book a room at lvc it may be a good deal since they may just move you over to the plaza.

Thanks for all the information from all you guys. I've now received a reply from LVC to say that we can use the pool at the Plaza, so we have now booked for September.
