Vegas Restaurants...

I'm checking out Vegas restaurants for our trip later this year. I want to try some different ones. Has anyone been to any of these...

First Food & Bar (Palazzo)

BLT Burger (Mirage)

Le Burger Brasserie (Paris)

PBR Rock Bar & Grill

Lagasse's Stadium (Palazzo)

I go to Burger Brasserie quite often, because it's very convenient, just inside the Flamingo entrance to Bally's. I'm also able to use my TR points and the coupon they give me with my room.

It's mostly a sports bar, so if you don't like that, you'll need to ignore quite a bit. The service is good, unless it's crowded. Also be aware that they close at 10 pm, I believe, and I walked in at 9:55 and was turned away.

They have a menu that includes a lot more than burgers, but I only buy the burgers. There's a good selection of burger styles, and I am happy with the food, which is why I go back. Although I'm not a gourmet, I would rate the food high, and the service slightly lower, for restaurants in that area.

KGB, Kerry's Gourmet Burgers, inside Harrah's, is similar, but it has a Russian theme (rather than sports bar), so if you like vodka, that might be better.

I went to PBR for the first time a week ago, and didn't like it. The food I got was pedestrian, and the place was very loud. But they do have a mechanical bull, if that's what you're into. I think I would have been happier with the Earl of Sandwich, instead.
We recently dined at First Food and Bar and were surprised to discover that this is a sports bar serving jazzed up bar food. We received complimentary pretzel rolls plus mustard before ordering the Sammy D Sampler that included lollipop Buffalo wings, walnut shrimp and Philly cheesesteak dumplings plus an order of O-rings (onion). If ordered individually the MSRP would have been $59, but by requesting the sampler our bill came to a more reasonable, yet overpriced for what you get, $37. Everything was good, but nothing scaled any culinary heights. This is one of the ELV50 restaurants, but it is one and done for us.

If you are into bar food at expensive prices, then I would suggest you purchase a restaurant.com certificate.

Thanks for the great report!
I have been to Lagasse stadium it is fun if you are watching a big game or want to make an afternoon of Sunday football or something. It is pricey $50 a head or $100 a head depending on where you sit. I recommend sitting in the Stadium seating with a sofa and huge projection tv surrounded but other LED tvs or plasmas or whatever they were. The food was decent but I was expecting more from Emril. Bam! Where was the Bam?! It was slightly better than regular bar food with higher prices. You are paying for the atmosphere to watch the games more than the quality of food IMHO. I have a good friend named Cody that is a bartender there. If you see him tell him Robert Adams says hello!

Thanks for the reviews. Anyone been to some nice places with good food and prices that won't break the bank??

I second the comments for PBR. Loud and obnoxious with mediocre food at best. Lots of other places that would be a better choice in my opinion.
BLT burger has a pretty tasty selection of burgers (I really liked the Lamb Tandoori one) - and make sure you have one of their spiked milkshakes - they are awesome! My personal fave is Fuzzy the Bear!
Lagasse's Stadium is a great place to have a bite if you're watching a game - a bit expensive but good and all seats have great views of the tv screens!

Fashion Show Mall has Maggiano's if you like reasonably priced Italian - nice atmosphere and good food, always busy - but bring an appetite because portions are big!
I can only tell you about Le Burger Brasserie.

I like the place if you're looking for the burger, onion rings, fries type of meal

......... and it's not a bad deal if you use the 2/1 LVA coupon.

I wish I could remember the hotel this was in, but last year I had the best burger I ever had on the strip. It was a kobe beef burger with chorizo (my all time fave) and a fried wheel of cheese. I wish I knew where it was because i am going again in May and would LOVE to have one again
I used to love to go to Burger Bar, but I think Burger Brasserie is even better.

I still like to go to Grand Luxe at the Venetian (and at the Pallazo). Good food and it won't break the bank.
