Vegas solo budget

So I have taken great pride the last couple trips drastically cutting food costs when my husband and I have been to Vegas. So, I am going solo the first weekend in December for the Half Marathon. I am staying at Excalibur the first two nights (location, location, price, and location were the main factors) and Caesars (comped) the third night. I have rented a car for $55 total for the trip. I see most coupons are for 2 for 1s. I am looking for suggestions on places to eat solo and cheap(er). Would prefer to not eat fast food except for my In n Out the day after the race. Thanks!

Terribles coffee shop has inexpensive food as well as Ellis Island.

The freebie books usually have casino ads for some type of dining special
50% off are orleans, silverton, terribles, ellis island, the flame at the el cortez. gold coast is free with 200 points earned. you can easily get to the orleans from excalibur and easily to the gold coast, ellis island and terribles from caesars.

also the 50% off at palms can be used at their buffet or coffee shop if you want to use it that way.
Since you have a rental car you will have an endless number of choices for cheap eats. All the Stations casino will likely have a buffet deal for slot club members...last year it was 1/2 off for the whole month of December.

Coupon book also has $10 off Paris / Planet Ho buffets.

Cheap/quality diners abound off the strip and downtown....Eastside Cannery, Terribles, Tuscany, California, 4-Queens, and the Water Street casinos in Henderson.

If you are not afraid of a dive - check out the diner at the Silver Nugget just north of downtown. It is really cheap and good for the price.

Drive east onFlamingo to Blueberry Hill Restaurant. It's reasonable & the food is

really good. As you are driving east of the strip it's on your right hand side street

on the corner.
