vegas solo ?

Vegas solo trips are great and really relaxing. I get to avoid the shopping and shows that are usually mandatory when I have the girl-friend, and I don't have to stay up late everynight if I don't want to like when I am partying with the guys.
I've made a lot of email penpals just from meeting people while playing the tables and in Vegas it is usually easy to strike up a conversation at a sports bar.
There is nothing more relaxing than sitting by the pool with my headphones on and a good book.
Since I stay at the Orleans a lot, I love to grab a tub of popcorn from the movie theater, watch a game at the sports book or sit at the bar and have a few beers while slow-playing the VP machines. that is heaven for me.
Keep in mind, I don't hit the bed until 4AM. So excuse me if I don't jump out of bed two hours later.

Besides, what's there to do in Vegas at 6AM, except having breakfast with other east-coasters who haven't adjusted to PST time yet.

Either eat breakfast, drink beer and gamble, just drink beer, or just gamble. At that time in the AM there's nobody around so you pretty much have the place to yourself.
Heading out to Vegas solo again next week!
It is wonderful!
Like Karen I don't like being responsible for entertaining someone all the time, but I usually have some board friends in town at the same time so I am NEVER lonely!

Done it solo a few times, always great. I can go to the Pinball HOF and stay as long as I want...can join a poker tourney and not worry about friends having to wait for me to get knocked out, etc

Going solo is great, you get to do what you want when you want.

It gets a little lonely at the end of the night (I gotta admit, I start missing my sweetie) but an occasional solo trip is a lot of fun.

Thats when you hop in your rent a car and head to the Bunny Ranch!
I perfer solo trips, but on occasion have gone as a group, which imply re-enforces why I like to go solo. I've a number of friends that have relocated out there , and I'll do a members meetup once or twice a year.
I like both, depends on my goal. If it's a quick comp trip for a giveaway, I'll go alone. If I want to do non-gambling things, I'll go w/my teenage son or meet my friends there. We're all pretty flexible so there's no pressure when I'm w/others. I like both types but have more fun when I'm not alone. Another bonus, I don't go on a gambling tilt when I'm w/others
A majority of mine are solo too. I am a very independent person generally anyways so I've always enjoyed going to Vegas solo. Like others have said I enjoy the freedom of doing what I want when I want, and if something looks cool to do I can go off my itinerary and just do it. There are only a couple of people I can stand going to Vegas with.
I've gone solo a few times. The good thing about solo trips is that you get to be selfish and eat, drink, play, and be entertained at all the places you want.

I've brought lady friends in the past. The bummer with that is I always end up spending a sizeable part of my bankroll on her (instead of me!) .... plus I always get in trouble for scoping out the scantily clad cocktail waitresses ... but I confess the restaurants and shows are much better when you have some good company to share them with.
