Vegas Spring break March 23rd to 27th

Hello everyone I am going to vegas with a group of 15 people. Most of us are staying at the Jockey Club. Most are not gamblers in fact I am probably the only one that loves to gamble. I was wondering where the best sports book is in the area. If you don't know the Jockey club is next to the bellagio. I would love to play some bball games probably in the morning and go on with my day so the closer the better.

This will be my first time in Vegas I am pretty pumped any other advice would be great. The group is mostly couples ages all around 24-28.

I am also considering a trip at the end of March. I noticed that air and car rentals seem higher than normal. Would this be because of Spring Break or some other specific event?

There is a big convention (Conexpo) with 140,000 people, a couple big concerts (Garth Brooks & Lady Gaga), & basketball's March Madness. The number of people attending all of these events increases the normal demands on services such as flights, car rentals & hotels - and all these businesses know a cash cow when they see it!

Our trip has been booked since back in October. It was even more expensive back then. We found a great deal with the jockey club.

The sports books will all be packed that weekend with NCAA hoops going from sweet sixteen down to the final four. A group that size will need to get camped out wayyyyy early in the day in order to get decent viewing in any of the strip sports books. Bellagio is close, but your age group may fit in better elsewhere. Ceasars would be my suggestion, it is very large and will get pretty crazy. Go very early or send a base camp party early or you will end up without seating.
