Vegas tunes for my iPod

If you've ever seen Vegas Vacation, they played this song when the Griswold's were traveling down the strip in the limo:

Born To Be Alive by Patrick Hernandez
Gotta put "Born to Be Alive" on there.

I salivate just like Clark Griswold taking in the view on the strip every time I play it.
Great idea on "Born to be alive"...I will definitely buy that one....Can't do Lady GaGa, sorry.

OK, I've bought five songs for my Vegas Playlist so far...Here they are:
Luck be a lady
Viva Las Vegas
Hey Baby lets go to Vegas
Ain't that a kick in the head
Born to be alive

I need a few more....Can anyone think of the other good songs from Vegas Vacation?

Sin City by ACDC though I heard they dont do the I-pod thing, a nice alternative is a cover of that song by EverClear which rocks and get the adreniline flowing.
A Little Less Conversation - Elvis.

Reminds me of the first Vegas shot in the new Ocean's 11 after Danny recruits Linus....also the theme song for the Las Vegas TV series.

There's no reference to Vegas in the song, but given the tie in to the above mentioned makes me think Vegas.

That is the song I was thinking of also.
"Pretty Vegas" by INXS is a cool song.
"Leaving Las Vegas" by Sheryl Crow
"Eyes Without A Face" by Billy Idol says "steal a car and go to Las Vegas..."
"Turn of a Friendly Card" by Alan Parsons
"Still the Same" by Bob Seger has gambling references
"The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers

My Vegas CD also has some songs the Bellagio plays when the fountains are going, like "Time to Say Goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli, and songs from various slot games like "Catch A Wave" (same name as the game, song is by the Beach Boys), "Don't Call Us" from Phone Tag, "Walk Like an Egyptian" from Pharoh's Fortune, etc.
Oh and the Ramones have a cool version of Viva Las Vegas, it's all surfing guitar music......
If you frequent Margaritaville when in Vegas, I always think of Vegas now when I hear that song.
