Mare, I agree with you. It's not fair. LVS has made this business decision .

Speaking from the experience of working for an un-named corp for 16+ years when I hear the words "business decision", it translates into the phrase..... "crappy idea" that won't work but we are going to do it anyway!.
sorry, double post
From past experience with some legal matters. Document everything with collaboration. Good luck karen. I hope you teach those A-holes a good lesson.
None of these people would have had their comped rooms pulled if they had the appropriate "high roller status." That is something everyone will agree on.

Was it a bitch that their comped rooms were pulled so close to their trips? ABSOLUTELY YES, and if it happened to me I would also be angry.

Had they concentrated their play ONLY at V/P then perhaps they would have had a high enough rating to continue to get their comps.

Bottom line: V/P wasnt important enough to them to give V/P all of their action, and these players weren't important enough to V/P to give them comped rooms.

Do the players still have the right to be angry? Damn right they can be angry.

Lesson: Be aware that when you spread around your action, this can be the result.

Again: if you feel slighted, a "bait and switch" complaint in such a short time span might get some attention. But hotel and casino offers can be pulled without notice. Check your fine print.

Karen, don't forget the words "Pain and suffering" when filing your legal suit. They are going to have to pay for your time to get other lodging. Use from the time you called until the time you were confirmed for a room stay from Caesers. All times should be your local time.
Pain and suffering for a casino cancelling a promotional offer? Oh boy.

I suggested "bait and switch" but even that's a stretch.

And I thought ex-wife #2 had a sense of entitlement?

I do hope you are being sarcastic. It took about 3 minutes to book my Caesars reservation online.

Emotional pain caused by "canceling" a comped room less than 48 hours before wheels down. Think if Karen didn't have the means to obtain another room at such short notice. She wouldn't have possibly been able to take the trip or not be able to stay as long. Pain and suffering normally gets some attention as this is what causes one greif.
Folks, this is not a legal issue. Let's move past that. The casinos have language in disclaimers that they can revoke offers. It is, however, a colossal PR problem and will hurt V/P bottom line.
thank you friedmush. since its coming from you, maybe someone will pay attention to what you said.
