The carp or the Asians?
So...wait....The Minnesota state senate claims that Asians are "invasive".. That is definitely not politically correct.

Angry, Invasive, Bony Asians Attack your Oriental Furniture!

Sounds like a potential box office smash to me.

Perhaps calling them Asian Trout will be less offensive. Most people like trout.

What's Oriental Crap?

From Wikipedia :

The pearly white flesh—complicated by a series of bones—is said to taste like cod or described as tasting like a cross between scallops and crabmeat. They are low in mercury because they do not eat other fish. To make the fish more appealing to American consumers, the fish have been renamed silverfin or Kentucky tuna .

Bob
We ate carp a lot when I was growing up.

in the winter the river (glorified creek) would run slow and clear so that you could see them swim by. We would foul hook them since they would not take a lure or bait. we would behead, defin and skin them, then cook them in a pressure cooker. The main bones would lift right out of the meat. The smaller bones would be soft and eatable from the pressure cooker. Form them into patties and lightly pan fry, then call them 'salmon patties'.

Probably. I was once chastized by an Asian friend, many years ago, when, meaning no harm, I used the "O" word. She said "Candy, your furniture is Oriental. We are Asian."

Couldn't help but laugh when I saw you say "the 'O' word".
If it smells like a carp.... then...
