Video Poker Question

LOL...I'm new, I don't know any better.
One possibility is this is a multiple game machine. Maybe only one game needs to be >100% for the sign. Or, a cleaning person might have moved the sign. You never know ...
Nope, says it right on the machine. 100% Payback. But yes it is a multi game, so maybe to be "correct' they only need one of the games to be 100% Anyone that going in the GVR take a look. Its the first bank as you walk in from the north upper packing lot (called the 215 Garage)
Someone should ask the NGC what the "rules" are for such a sign.

I am sure, without asking, that the signage must not be misleading. The question really is-- what does the sign actually say? A picture of the sign is worth ten pages of Internet debate. I am going to suggest that if they have a sign that says "100% payback" there are also words with the various "conditions" that would apply to the 100% payback. Ive never seen signs like these on multiple VP game machines... but only on machines limited to one type of game such as DW or DB or DDB.

At Stateline Primm there are several vp machines with "100%" signs but they are all on machines with only one type of game available and these include DDB and DB game machines.
If it's a multigame machine, it may be time well spent to figure out which game is 100% (rather than becoming an instigator). And, yeah, Patric does seem very polite. Very suspicious indeed.
Most of the 100% signs have small print. They say something like "when using proper strategy". For this situation they could say "when paying certain games with proper strategy" and they would be covered.

Also, they might have a small print "up to" above the 100% which would cover the games below 100% as long as one game was over 100%.
I believe that bank of machines at GVR is made up of six slant-tops, three on each side. One side is labeled "Over 100% payback". The other side is labeled "Up to 99.8% Payback".

The 5c/10c games on the 99.8% side are pretty poor. The 25c/50c/$1 Deuces Wild is 99.7% NSUD, but the 5c/10c Deuces Wild is the 96.77% version. And I believe this 5c/10c DW takes 10 coins instead of five for the 8000 coin royal.

Disclaimer: I have not seen these myself but got this info from a reliable source.

Funny, but I played at those machines yesterday morning before heading out of Vegas. It's actually a tradition of mine to stop at GVR on sunday mornings before driving back to Phoenix for a free breakfast buffet and to play my free play through. I do this 10-12 times a year, so I'm a little familiar with these machines. It is a bank of 3 machines clearly labeled as over 100% payback with optimal stratagy. On the backside are another 3 machines which do not have any such labeling. There are also several other banks of these 100% machines scattered throughout the property. They are all single line, anywhere from quarter to dollar, 5 coin max. There are usually 3 game choices on these machines: 10/6 double double bonus at 100.07% (my choice), double bonus at 100.2%, and full-pay deuces wild at 100.76%. Keep in mind these are the long-term payback percentages based on perfect mathematically play strategy.

None of the pay tables have double jackpots for the royal flush. I don't know what machine you saw, but it's not one of the 3 just inside the doors from level 4 off the 215 parking garage marked as 100%. Not yesterday, not 2 weeks ago, not ever since I've been playing these machines for the past several years.

I am unsure about these particular machines or deuces fp as I usually play ddb, but at Barleys, they have multi game with "only ddb" paying 10/6 for 100%. Just hit aces and kicker on them two hours ago

You must read carefully everything on or near the machine.

Does anyone know where the fp machines are in Primm, I can never find anything more than 8/5 there??
