Nope, says it right on the machine. 100% Payback. But yes it is a multi game, so maybe to be "correct' they only need one of the games to be 100% Anyone that going in the GVR take a look. Its the first bank as you walk in from the north upper packing lot (called the 215 Garage)

Funny, but I played at those machines yesterday morning before heading out of Vegas. It's actually a tradition of mine to stop at GVR on sunday mornings before driving back to Phoenix for a free breakfast buffet and to play my free play through. I do this 10-12 times a year, so I'm a little familiar with these machines. It is a bank of 3 machines clearly labeled as over 100% payback with optimal stratagy. On the backside are another 3 machines which do not have any such labeling. There are also several other banks of these 100% machines scattered throughout the property. They are all single line, anywhere from quarter to dollar, 5 coin max. There are usually 3 game choices on these machines: 10/6 double double bonus at 100.07% (my choice), double bonus at 100.2%, and full-pay deuces wild at 100.76%. Keep in mind these are the long-term payback percentages based on perfect mathematically play strategy.

None of the pay tables have double jackpots for the royal flush. I don't know what machine you saw, but it's not one of the 3 just inside the doors from level 4 off the 215 parking garage marked as 100%. Not yesterday, not 2 weeks ago, not ever since I've been playing these machines for the past several years.

I'm glad to hear you play the same bank a few times a year. We need all the tourist we can get. But, that said, I play that silly bank once a day. "Not yesterday, not 2 weeks ago, every day. (I live a cross the street) The bank does say100% and the d wild on the machine far left (looking north) has an 8,000 RF pay. Check it out when your back in town...bring your glasses next time.

Well, if you're looking at the machine on the far left when facing north, you're not looking at the same bank of machines. You would have to be facing south to be looking at the bank I'm referring to. Maybe something has changed in that area, but I'm really not sure we're all talking about the same 100% optimal play machines.
That was my "nice" forum response to your reply.

Now for my "not so nice" response to your nasty, sarcastic, beligerant reply. I'm not a tourist. I'm an advanced recreational player that plays mainly near or above 100% pay tables factoring in the slot club at a near zero percent error rate. I may not be as well known on this forum as I am at videopoker.com. However, some of your regular posters here, such as arcimedes know me fairly well. I've been playing video poker since it's inception in the 80's and have had years when I've been in Nevada for 100-120 days even though I live in Arizona. I also have many positive plays here in Arizona at several indian casinos as well. I know a thing or two about what I'm looking at when it comes to pay tables. I converse at times with Michael Shackleford, the Wizardofodds, as well. Oh, and by the way, yes you do need as many tourists as possible. Because, without the tourists Las Vegas doesn't exist. And that includes you Patric. I don't care what you do for a living, how often you play video poker, or how well you play the game. Without tourism to support Las Vegas, it would become a bowl of dust just like the desert surrounding it. And yes, you do need inexperienced tourists playing 9/5 double double bonus two machines over from 10/6 double double bonus to keep the good games alive. However, if you think you sniffed out a fish with me, you've barked up the wrong tree.

Bob Dancer mentions this game in a recent article. Couldn't quite follow what he was saying, but apparently it (along with several other -EV games) can become +EV with a rapidly moving progressive.

Would really have to climb a lot to be positive if it is still so far under 100% at double its starting value. Anyone familiar with the concepts he is talking about in this article?
Bob Dancer does not mention the game in question in his article -- the game he mentions does not have (or start with) an 8,000 coin Royal for a 5-coin wager. As far as what he's talking about, it might be good discussion for a new thread, but I don't want to hijack this one.
