video walk thru of Wynn & Bacchanal buffets

Bacchanal buffet

Wynn buffet

Nice walk thru videos of these higher end buffets. I appreciate the work this person put in to make these videos.
They've got similar videos for almost every major buffet in the city. Nice huh?

It really shows, IMO, how overpriced the Bacchanal Buffet is. Lots of selection and great presentation....and it looks delicious. But you simply aren't going to eat $50 worth of tacos/sushi/hot dogs/salad/pasta/ and ice cream. Granted they have crab legs but so do 20 other buffets at half the price.
What we need is a list of those crab leg offering buffets at under $25.

(I'm too lazy to look for the list myself)

I'm not a buffet person because you feel obligated to try and get your $50 worth and you always end up overeating. It is obvious with top end buffets that you go minimal to none on the fillers, which includes pastas, breads, pizzas, jello, etc. You want to head to the end and get the sea food and meat. Unfortunately many times in buffets they will not have the shrimp peeled so you have to work much harder at getting it out, and maybe decide to take less. Sometimes the same goes for the crab legs, where they haven't cut them to where you can easily pull out the crab meat.

Good points Roulette Man. I find myself not taking salads or starches and loading up on meats in order to get my money's worth.
"Back in the Day", I could and would put a crushing on a buffet, but not any longer. I certainly can understand the appeal, however. Just not my thing, now.

Me too! I used to really "Put it away" when I was 20-30. No more.
I'll just go for a cheap buffet and pick what I want to eat that is not too unhealthy, usually.

Salad bar first. $15-$30 is fine.
I don't eat crab because it is a spider and I'm arachnophobic.
That's why tarantulas taste like shrimp.
Beef and pork: YUMM!
I can eat several times a day, but not a lot in one sitting. I do carry 20 or more extra pounds, but I hate that over-stuffed miserable feeling. on the rare occasion that I do go to a buffet, I observe others. compared to what they are eating, I don't get my moneys worth.
