I spent 10 minutes in Palace Station and that was enough. Not my kind of place. Reminded me of Boulder Station. And that's no compliment.

I dropped my wife off in Boulder Station went down the road to play golf at Desert Pines. When I returned, my wife and I struck up a conversation with a nice older lady who moved to Vegas from NYC at the slot machine next to us. After some chit-chat, the nice older lady says to us, "If you don't mind me asking, how did you nice people wind up in a dump like this? There are so many nicer places in Vegas. I'm just here to get enough points for a free brunch buffet but you're on vacation and in a dive like this." We explained about how Boulder Station is close to the golf course and how it's still nicer than Palace Station. She nodded in agreement. "yeah, Palace Station is pretty bad".

Might Blondie go to Cannery next and report back? The nice older lady we met at Boulder Station said Cannery is quite nice.
