Indeed, regrettably DonDiego's suppositions are seldom considered in formal Court judgments.
The Wisconsin and North Carolina Voter ID Laws were judged as intending to disenfranchise voters for purposes other than simple identification of US and State citizenship. DonDiego doesn't know the details, but defers to the presumedly legitimate judgement of the respective courts.
Nonetheless something like 30 States do have a Voter ID procedure in place; DonDiego would still like all States to verify the US citizenship of those who vote.
Some people don't.
