Voter IDs

This a great system the Democrats are running (sarcasm) if they believe that Mr. Lopez should be voting in Pennsylvania after living out of state for 32 months. The Democrats go out of their way not to catch cheaters.

It's a diversion folks.

Nothing more.

The demobrats keep bringing up the numbers regarding voter fraud. There are absolutely no valid numbers on this subject. Those practicing fraudulent activities have a risk of jail time, so, they attempt to avoid detection.

It would be interesting to find out if Mr. Lopez votes in Pennsylvania this election. (I like a good conspiracy theory as well as the next guy.) This is a step in the process. Verify the voter has moved before placing 'his' vote. What is the likelihood that this would be detected?

No you don't have to show ID every time you vote. Which is what you guys want for in-person voting, isn't it?

So again, who is going to check the ID's of all those Republican vote by mail (absentee) voters every time
they vote?

Exactly right. Hey! That's just how it works today in California. I'd add one more item to it. On the absentee ballot return envelope, I'd put a plastic strip that can be peeled to reveal a spot for one to place his fingerprint....got to be sure Voting---the lynchpin of Democracy---Maintains its integrity. That goes for cleaning up the voter roles and making sure every step in the voting and counting process oozes fairness, honesty, and truth.

Remind me why Democrats can't vote absentee.

Absentee ballots are disproportionately made up of those who are sick and elderly, and the Republicans kind of own that demographic, don't they?
The elderly, perhaps......the 'sick' as call them, are totally in lock step with the left.
Nothing to see here

Jerry Mosna was gardening outside his San Pedro, Calif., home Saturday when he noticed something odd: Two stacks of 2016 ballots on his mailbox.

The 83 ballots, each unused, were addressed to different people, all supposedly living in his elderly neighbor’s two-bedroom apartment.

“I think this is spooky,” Mosna said. “All the different names, none we recognize, all at one address.”

His wife, Madalena Mosna, noted their 89-year-old neighbor lives by herself, and, “Eighty people can’t fit in that apartment.”

They took the ballots to the Los Angeles Police Department, but were directed to the post office. They felt little comfort there would be an investigation, and called another neighbor, John Cracchiolo – who contacted the Los Angeles County Registrar's office.

A spokeswoman for the Registrar said the office will investigate. Both Cracchiolo and Jerry Mosna told FoxNews.com they think they stumbled upon a case of fraud.

Assuming this is voter fraud:

Would Voter ID's at polling places have caught this? NO!

Would requiring all those (typically Republican) absentee voters to show their ID in person every election have caught this? YES!

I'm cool with that.
However the person who registered 83 people would have had to show an id.

Why is forky so focused on Republicans when everybody else is concerned about anybody committing fraud? A true democratic hack

If as Alan suggested a fingerprint box was added to the form, this would all be avoided. Why do democrats fight this so hard? You would think they woud also want to insure that the election was clean
