Voter IDs

Other than the waste of money - since voter impersonation is basically unheard of - I don't have a problem. But if it puts additional hurdles in front of people who don't drive cars, it's un-American.

Forkie, time to tell the truth. Are you saying that you really believe that those 30 violations you keep throwing out here, are the only ones?

Perception is reality, and the perception out there is that voter fraud is a lot more than 30 incidents. If the voters feel that the system isn't protected, we are in big trouble. Now, am I worried about multiple voters and the dead voting? Not really. I'm from Chicago, I'm much more worried about bigger frauds......things like who is really counting the vote, especially early votes and absentee's. Do I trust any Chicago Democrats? Absolutely not. And that includes Obamation and Liarry.

Another 17 killed here over the weekend and 49 more wounded.....and what do you hear from Emanuel and Obamanation? Crickets.....the press won't even ask them a question. AGAIN.

It' s not up to me to prove a negative. If voter impersonation is a problem of any significance, prove it.

Forkie, I wasn't asking for proof. I just wanted to see if you really believe that election fraud isn't becoming a problem. The question was do YOU really believe that there are only 30 incidents out there? Just looking for you to once come up with an opinion of your own, not something from some liberal blog.

Exactly where is the monetary waste that is alleged to be involved in looking at an ID card?
I don't get charged at the store for showing an ID to use credit (etc.) I'm not aware of an ID surcharge at airlines or rental agencies.
I'm not sure that I get charged for showing ID at other places or events.
Please enlighten me.
