Where and when?

...and what suit was "the 5th Ace"? Clowns? Stars? Moons? Pepsi Logo?
This is historic... Im actually reading reports about five aces and five deuces without wild cards. someone alert the media.

Singer is right, the machines are rigged!!!!!!!!
These are single deck machines I hope. Good question "what is the fifth suit if not a wild or joker card.?
Good call Knagl

No, the machines are not rigged. Just like any other computer you occasionally see malfunctions. Haven't you heard stories of people being billed millions of dollars more than they should?

To err is human, to really screw up takes a computer ... to quote and old cliche.

Using a 53 card deck is not a malfunction. At best it is a bug. And a bug that causes the machine not to be in compliance with legal regulations like using a 52 card deck needs to be reported and fixed.
Arc, youll have to explain this one to me... s l o w l y. Im guessing (because I dont know) that the computer program list 52 possible cards in a 52-card game, and the computer must choose among those 52 cards. Are you suggesting that the consumer program can choose and display (since its a video screen) the same card twice?

If that is the case, please explain why this would show up in isolated cases? I find it hard to imagine that the game makers would individually create the programs/chips that go into its machines. Certainly if this error popped up on one machine it could pop up on all? And once found on one through testing (I am sure they run tests for quality control) ALL of the machines using that "chip run" would be recalled.

Sorry, but I must remain skeptical. Ive never read a poker book or article that even hinted such a thing could happen, even in the dark ages when VP started.

edited for misspellings, and I hope I found them all without a computer driven spell checker in use
