wait for black friday? help

I was at the computer tonight going thru offers and checking out southwest airlines prices for a possible trip to Las Vegas December 3rd to the 9th (give or take a day) when I saw an e-mail from the Golden nugget saying to watch my computer for black Friday deals this coming Thursday.
so, I am wondering if I should wait to see if there are any southwest, Golden Nugget or any Fremont street casino, and rental car deals this Friday or is the first week of December just too close??
What are your thoughts??

The National Rodeo is usually in town the week you are considering. Go a week later and its usually the deadest time of year in Vegas which translates to phenomenal deals on rooms and rental cars.

Golden Nugget sent me their Black Friday deals last year....I didn't think they we remarkably better than the standard mailer they send out any other time of year.

PJ nailed it. After the first week of December up to Christmas, it is DEAD. In matter of fact, I think some production shows go dark to give their people vacations.l
