First Trump said build a wall and Mexico will pay for it. Yesterday it was build a wall and eventually Mexico will pay for it. Today, its build a wall and put a 20% tax on Mexican imports to pay for it. Seems to me like we, the American tax payer are now not only paying to build a wall, but we are also going to pay 20% more on anything that comes out of Mejico. Kind of getting double doinked, here, no? How, in the wide wide world of sports entertainment is taxing Americans 20% more on Mexican imports making Mexico pay for the wall? Shouldn't the tax be on what Mexico imports from us, making the Mexicans pay 20% more for the goods they buy? Or at least on the goods American companies export to Mexico, raising the price of the stuff in Mexico? Instead, they propose raising the price of Mexican beer, tequila and fruit by a fifth to us.
Thank Gawd we know Trump is looking out for us, otherwise this would look suspiciously like a royal screwing.
