The tiny collection of idiots once called NAMBLA has nothing to do with whether Boy Scouts should allow all responsible adults to serve as leaders.

The gay community includes NAMBLA in its events? You are completely full of shit. That NEVER happens. I guess making up such obvious lies is what jerks do when they know they're losing.

Please stop suggesting there's a relationship between being gay and being a rapist, just as we've stopped, suggesting, despite recent evidence, that there's a relationship between being a very old southern guy and being very stupid.

NEVER is a powerful word. One you shouldn't have used. It has happened. Most of the gay community distanced itself from NAMBLA after they realized the association would harm their cause.

I haven't suggested there's a relationship between being gay and being a rapist.

I do believe that homosexual males should not be in intimate close proximity to Boy Scouts in tents on camping trips. Why would a gay man want this access? Why would they or you condemn those who would be uncomfortable with them having this access? Why is it that the left not only believes it has the right to tell people what to think, they believe they have the right to tell people how to feel? ...if your own arrogance will even allow you to understand that question.

Really? YOU are telling US how to think and feel. Does THAT make you part of the left also? I don't think this is a question of left, right, center, or whatever. It's a question of humanity, compassion and common sense. Your sexual preference does NOT determine your ability to lead young people, boy or girl, on camping trips, fellowship and community events. Your attacker has colored your ability to make a rational discussion on this topic possible. This has become abundantly clear. One can only hope that at some point you can find peace and closure of some kind with this obviously very traumatic event in your life.

To assume that gays and straights have equal sexual attraction to children is equally ludicrous. I'm not sure which group is more likely attracted to children, yet it's quite unlikely that the tendencies are equal.

Similarly, Liberals wish us to believe that men and woman are exactly the same except with regard to physical strength. Even pondering the possibility that the average woman is not as valuable vs the average man in the workplace is met with ignorant liberal taunts. To assume we are exactly the same is illogical.

So, which situation poses the greatest risk to sexual assault of a boy scout?

A) Heterosexual Scout master sharing a two person tent with his son
B) Gay Scout master sharing a two person tent with his son
C) Heterosexual Scout master sharing a two person tent with a boy who is not his son
D) Gay Scout master sharing a two person tent with a boy who is not his son

I think the risk increases as you go down the alphabet. Blindly excluding gay scout leaders is not the answer, with but ignoring the risk of scout masters alone with children who are not their own is a recipe for disaster. Unless you are naïve, you gotta see the difference between C and D and additional background checking is needed. Anyone who has had children has to realize this.
