The War on Women (Not Vegas Related)

I find it interesting that The United Nations Commission on the Status of Women passed a resolution last week condemning Israel's part in the degrading of living conditions for Palestinian women, while failing to mention the mistreatment of women in the ongoing crisis in Syria or other Arab countries where women cannot vote, drive, or go out in public without their "man's" permission:

UN Resolution on Israel's mistreatment of women

Meanwhile in Afghanistan, we have Sharia Law and the real war on women:

Woman Stoned, Run over by a truck, set on fire, thrown from a building and remains tossed in the River for false claims of burning the KoranUN Resolution on Israel's mistreatment of women
Amen.
They are all bad, to varying degrees. And singling out Israel is discrimination.

But countries that militarily occupy foreign lands for fifty years sometimes do get discriminated against. Go figure.
If I were a woman, I think I would prefer to live in Israel over Afghanistan.....or Saudi Arabia, or the Yemen, or Syria, or ....

Hell, If I were a black woman in Selma Alabama in the 50's, I'd take Selma over today's Afghanistan et al.

But you'd have to be some kind of sociopath to use that argument to justify Selma.

Sociopath?

I am merely calling out the United Nations for their stupidity --- and the United States for the continued funding of this organization.

Maybe others are "sociopaths" for not being able to see this.
I don't even know the details of Palestinian lands. I suspect that one concession that Palestine made was to not terrorize Israel. They broke this agreement making the contract null and void.

When terrorist groups and countries like Iran constantly call for the elimination of Israel, there isn't any incentive for Israel to give up any land
Palestinians live (and always have lived) as second class citizens in Israel. They are segregated into seperate and unequal divisions of public service....they get crappier schools, less police, worse access to healthcare. They can be arrested without being charged. They have no right to free speech or assembly. And they have no ability to run for office within the state...and are openly discriminated against when seeking employment.

Are there worse places to live in the world? yes. But thats a pretty sad argument for defending oppression.
"And they have no ability to run for office within the state"

But yet they have have around a dozen seats in the Knesset. Many Arabs have refused citizenry
