And if you don't believe that Youtube video, how bout the lead story in the LVRJ today :

What's your point? Just to bash cops?
Police officers sometimes are forced to make arrests like that and yes, they do make mistakes.
Poor old DonDiego is not diabetic, but he does have a touch of lumbago.
Is he in any danger?
Let's look at this in a different way.
How would you feel if a diabetic knowingly did not take their medication got in a car and had a seizure or went into a coma, ran into another vehicle and killed someone?
Same thing with those who have other seizure related illnesses.

I dont think this scores very high on the Rodney King meter.

Just very unfortunate for everyone involved.

And cops beating him changes something? How are you ok with 5 police beating someone thats already on the ground?
Everyone wants to be safe, but no one wants to see the details of how that happens. Henderson has high ratings as far as crime goes. We cannot forget that police officers are human and make mistakes, they want to get home safely to their families too. They are asked to protect the general public from the general public(and we know how responsible the masses are). Obviously, we don't want to have a situation where we have to protect the general public from a rogue police force. I don't think this qualifies--it seems like an unfortunate error.

The officers didn't know who they were dealing with. It's unfortunate they made a mistake.
They made it right with the settlement after all, isn't that the Amercan way? Get rich by lawsuits.
I'm sure the man is limping all the way to the bank.

Police making a mistake?
