Warren Sapp files bankruptcy

He has not been retired that long! Contract is up this summer with NFL network, he may want to hang onto that job. Unbelievable how they either piss their money away on bad investments or share to much with friends. Alan Iverson filed about 2 weeks ago. I thought I read he had made $146 million while in the NBA.

Wonder if they bought any of the mega millions tixs trying to pay some bills off?
At least he has his degree to fall back on...oops..never quite got that.
Maybe he can go on DWTS. Nope...been there, done that....
He can always sell his 240 pairs of Air Jordans.
It drives me nuts. I have associated with Chris McAllister who played for the Ravens in the Super Bowl. He is now bankrupt and lives with his parents. Of course both he and Sapp have divorces and some are wondering if they are sheltering money?

Most responsible people are hoping to save up for a million plus nest egg through their IRA's, 401k's, etc. These guys have multiple millions when they are in their early twenties, and should be able to live incredible life styles from just the income generated from those millions. They should know that they are some of the lucky ones, and that NFL careers are usually short, so you better not blow all of that money.
Well said, RM.

Two quick Sapp stories. I live in Tampa. Right after the Bucs won the Superbowl I was at the airport and a woman soldier in full uniform touches Warrens shoulder and congratulates him on the Superbowl win. His response, get your hands off me bitch.

My friend used to see him park in the handicap spot on a regular basis at the restaurant by his house.

I could go on and on but you get picture.
